Prescription Policy

To ensure the highest level of accuracy and safety in medication management, our office no longer accepts prescription requests from external pharmacies submitted via fax, telephone, or email. These third‑party requests can lead to misplaced prescriptions, incorrect medication dispensing, and unauthorized refill attempts, and eliminating them allows us to maintain tighter control over patient care.

All prescriptions must be picked up in person at our office. We are unable to mail, fax, or email prescriptions under any circumstances. This policy ensures secure handling of medications and guarantees that each prescription is delivered directly to the intended patient.

• Written prescriptions may be requested by phone, text, or email. Please allow three business days for processing. Prescriptions can also be requested during your in‑hospital appointment.
• Once you have picked up your prescription from our office, you may take it to—or mail it to—the pharmacy of your choice.
• If we do not stock a medication you need, we can order it to our office or have it compounded through one of our trusted pharmacies, Wedgewood or MixLab, with delivery directly to your home.
